Ouch! Almost 1000 points, and I'm still thrown out of the top 10. Tough competition. I guess I should be relieved that Zakarin didn't do better than he did.

34th for the week, +7 spots, now sandwiched between two of my favorite members on this forum, del1962 and Mayomaniac. We can form a chasing group, TTT our way up: all hope is not lost...

Checks results and sees that I managed to keep a top 10 position
How in the big wide world did I manage that, was thinking I would be dropping twice at at the very least

Saved by the tour of Norway and Affini

So i finally get past Object (by only 25 points) but am still second.

In other news, the two teams with Marini are now first and second. While Marini has zero points. Experts. :D

Good week for me, finally. Now I can look who is ahead of me but I still need something exceptional from Kristoff to have a chance for top10

I wouldn't mind a TTT, but this week will be pretty weak for me, maybe Almeida and Vacek will score some points. For the Dauphine I have Porte, Hodeg and Lamprecht. I need a big performance from Porte to get even points on that investment, cause I have very little confidence in him riding a great Tour.

It appears that Bettiol and Nibali have proven worthy of being very popular picks with the returns they are giving.

Now can Landa just stay healthy for the rest of the season?

I'm very happy with my unique pick of Nicholas Schultz. He is very close to doubling his points total from last year. Of course his great opening of the season in Australia is a big reason for that.

I fear I may have peaked. With Oomen out for the rest of the season, that's a heap of GC points I was expecting....but I sincerely hope he gets sorted. Talented lad. It's quite something to score over a thousand points and slide down the table ... but I guess Nibali was responsible for a lot of them. Dead happy with Ciccone this Giro though.

Drop in the rankings as expected. Now hoping that Porte and Yates can bring it in the tour. Or maybe already in Dauphine!?

Quite a ride Skidmark had to the rank 1 position.

I have a bunch of French riders at the Dauphine and Tour, so they could bring some good surprises. Most bases are covered but obviously, Tibopino must deliver.

If we add our scores, we can call it The Hammer Series and top-10...maybe :) .

Evenpoel should have gotten some nice points today in the Hammer Series. I think I should have scored some points with Geschke.

5 and 2. There are hardly any points available in the hammer series.

It's a great way for some underwhelming riders to score at least a few points though.

Well with the injuries he's had this year, I'll take whatever points I can get.

Yep Banaszek for example struggling to finish regular races. Here he can score at least 3

Not much significant racing this week, I shall be cheering for Loïc Vliegen and Vincenzo Albanese in Luxembourg, and Clement Venturini in Boucles de la Mayenne.
In the end Venturini didn't start in Boucles. Vliegen and Albanese performed well in the sprint stages but missed a few percent to compete in yesterday's tougher stage, so seems they won't get significant points.
I've a couple guys in Hammer Series, Evenepoel, Felline, Walscheid, Affini and Stannard. Evenepoel and Walscheid could still get decent points from the final standings, MTS didn't do as well as in Stavanger so no points for Affini and Stannard.

My Dauphiné team:
Venturini
Bouhanni
Theuns
Bettiol
Gaudu
Barguil
Padun

Many names, seems stage points should be my aim. Gaudu should be up there uphill but the TT will hurt his GC chances. Barguil seemed ok-ish at his return to racing last week, but I can't expect anything from him, and who knows what Padun can do.

In Lugano I have Nibali, Aru, Chaves, Riabushenko and Imerio Cima. Not expecting many points.

That was really annoying. He'll get 10 points if he's lucky in the Dauphiné, while he could've won the Boucles.

Yep, frustrating, especially as he lost so many potential points in Dunkerque.
