Boonen at the Giro means a lot more than just a post-injury process.
He's not thinking about the retirement, yet. He won't leave without a bang.
Cancellara should participate in the Giro too. I would love to see them in couple of breaks together.
Nowadays it's pure luck if we see just one of them in a break, let alone the both.

Atapuma's comments are Jan-2015. Few things have changed since then. His performance looks really good and BMC might want to take him to the Tour again as a close helper of TVG. Just saying.

So far he has followed the build-up schedule in the article, so I'm 100% that he will be there.

Tejay will have Stetina (who hopefully is fully recovered), Sanchez, Ben Hermans and maybe Veltis (who also has to recover). He is going to be ok.

Patience, guys... it's in the writing. ;)
I'm also waiting for RCS to release the final kms profile.

Two Chinese riders: Xu Gang from Lampre-Merida, Ji Cheng from Giant-Alpecin will ride giro (per Chinese sources).
Xu Gang will debut giro this year.

Movistar line-up:

Beñat Intxausti, Ion Izagirre, Juanjo Lobato, Andrey Amador, Igor Antón, Eros Capecchi, Rubén Fernández, Jesús Herrada, Javi Moreno, Dayer Quintana y Giovanni Visconti.

Bold names are certain. Two of the others names still have to be dropped from the roster.

Who would be left to play domestics to Quintana and Valverde?

Izagirre and Intxausti will probably double up.

Nah, nothing in the article states that he will be there. It's all for Aru this time. And the team still needs a rouleur on the flat (see Bozic).
Aru has been given team leadership for the Giro d’Italia after his impressive ride in 2014. However Slongo revealed that Nibali would be ready to also ride the Giro d’Italia.
