TBF given the veneration he gets in Italian cycling I'm amazed they haven't had him embalmed and put on permanent display in Cesena like Lenin or Hồ Chí Minh.

Could be a repeat of last year in Primus/Super8 whatever classic. Strong group gone but still a long way to go and a peloton with some sprinters that reorganizes

Gap is bigger than last year tho and the front group is working well together.

Impressive race from Frank Van den Broeck from the DSM Devo team. A few months ago he was still riding for Abloc. Honestly DSM should just make him pro already next year if they have a spot left, he's ready.

Also breakthrough ride for Lars Boven from the Jumbo Devo team. Not sure if he's already signed a pro contract yet. Tietema would be my guess?

As expected, peloton reorganized. Lots of teams working. 50 seconds difference, definitely still possible this becomes a sprint.

Yeah but there's a few riders that can never win a sprint so let's see if they keep working. Vermeersch for example has De Buyst behind (but doubt they think he can win).

Front group absolute can't be playing games tho. With Vermeersch there there's less chance that it happens, but 40 seconds with 10km to go is still close.

Peloton coming closer. Said it before and I'll say it again, this is the Kuurne of the autumn and both races work for the same reason.
