Hey, Garmin fangirl number one is back. Kisses. When did you start watching cycling again? 1999 or was it 2000?

Cheerio,

Go and roam the interwebz for stage reports, some here actually saw the stages live. But hey, keep believing cycling is clean now.Again, you people just seem not be informed at all. Rogers had his toncils removed last year and had some problems afterwards.

Bet fangirl PCMG76 knew that.

You are really on a roll here.

Poor little FGL, the last time I busted your crap, you high-tailed it out of the thread never to be seen again. Posting evidence and fact's to prove your jaundiced view whilst actually proving the opposite was so funny I am still laughing at your nonsense.

I don't give a crap about whatever you are spouting lately or about Mick Rogers getting his tonsils out, just thought it was funny someone else called your BS as well.

Don't worry I have been following cycling for just about as long as you have, so you ain't got nothing on me in that respect. You might think you do but believe me you don't.

Why so quiet here? So all the professors here were talking s**t for last few months? Indeed he is much worse than last year.

Yeh this is pretty good from Mick, who struggles to maintain a strong program in consecutive years.

Indeed, Rogers was no better at Sky than he was before he joined them and he is every bit as good as ever now he has left them.

Again, I hate to be one of those guys, but why so quiet here? It was a very hip thread a few months ago, about how he is zero after leaving Sky. And now, 2 years later (and older) he wins on Zoncolan.
I am Rogers' biggest fan, but, again, it's possible that all the doctors here, on the clinic, were wrong?

Rogers was doping at sky and is still doping. Its not very complicated.

But it was my friend, last year before Dauphine. There were pages and pages about how Sky doped him in a way nobody else can. Like they are doing with Froome and Wiggins.

I'm not sure anyone was saying that though. Taking doubt about a rider's performances and then making specific and implausible claims about it doesn't remove the doubt.

A lot of pages. Even during Dauphine, just because he finished second in 2012 and "only" 6'th one year later.

Ok. That was obviously wrong.

As a skyfan, do you think he was clean at sky and that he was only doping before and after riding for them?

Mick's back on the Chinese ? Same butcher as Contador ? He's looked incredibly good for a guy that's been out for a while, especially on the mountain stages as well as doing his domestique duties on the front. But he has made it into the right breaks as well, some luck in that. Losing time early in the race worked to his favour.

He's got the experience to know which breaks to go in and he's got the talent to convert from those positions.

However, he is also a huge doper who has escaped multiple hits to a Popovych/Klöden level at this point. I don't buy for a second that he's clean or ever has been. I'd rather put my hands in the fire for Tiernan-Locke.

I am not a Sky fan. If I had to pick a period in which he was I clean, or cleaner, I would say Tmobile 2007-2010. I don't know about Sky or after, but I am 90% sure I have an answer about Mapei.

I haven't read the thread, but as to why so quiet, probably because no one really disputes he's a doper and he's not a rider in contention for GT or classics wins at this point.

I saw he won today, (fell back asleep watching it) was surprised that he did and came here to see what people had to say. Turns out not much. No surprise, it's not controversial to suggest he's dirty.

I don't have much to say either. He's been doper for a long, long time. Not all form is explained by dope, but it's hard to imagine this kind of performance can be done clean by a guy like Rogers at this point in his career.

It will get louder when someone starts acting like he's clean or further an example of how cycling has cleaned up. *Shrug*

You would probably get better answers if you query the people who made those comments instead of asking an entire forum to explain them.

If answers are in fact what you seek.

It seemed logical. The man worked with some of the best doping doctors in cycling, yet was still hitting his peak when riding for sky according to himself.

I wouldnt say that what he did in this giro was as outrageous as the 2012 tour, but still very suspicious of course. I dont think he will have a horde of bots to defend him this time :(

The bots are busy reprogramming their algorithm to fit the new logic.

It might take some time. If they can somehow work it out that Rogers started doping at Saxo they'll say it whilst sitting on the fence.

I've actually seen bots calling rogers out today - how the hell does that work...however they are backing up what we think of them. That their loyalty, bias and cluelessness has them ruined.

Rogers himself said he was in the form of his life at Sky, of course he also claimed to be clean, so maybe we take every word from him with a grain of salt.

You know, Bart said: "This is the worst day of my life". And Homer told him: "Son, this is the worst day of your life so far".
