In other words, "it's a massive advantage, except it isn't"Degenkolb just said that DSM won't race the tyre pressure management system tomorrow. He sees it as a massive advantage, but it needs more time to practice it. They will bring it for the Tour stage instead.

I don't know, Jumbo for example said that it changes the weight distribution quite a bit, and consequently also the bike handling. So it makes sense that it needs proper practicing. For a team that plans everything into extreme, does it sound utterly stupid.
Too much money to be made if it catches on with the general public. Although can’t see that happening for this kind of technology..I have to say I find it a bit absurd that such a system is allowed.
Agreed. I've always stated that once electronics are involved, it's no longer a true bicycle. The fact that all watts remain human sourced doesn't change my opinion.Ban all electronics on bikes.
I'm curious what role WVA will play tomorrow. Maybe the best benefit for the team will be WVA attacking earlier (despite being subpar) and forcing other teams to chase him. Or maybe he's better than they say and will surprise his rivals tomorrow.
It's a race for true racers.I saw at one point Bling was down to make his debut here. I was quite excited by that. I can't fully understand why he's never ridden this race.
Anyone know what's occurring with Team Bike Exchange?
Only fielding 5 riders it seems.

I can’t be the only one envisioning this (if they used it) going really bad? Similar to 2 pro riders staring at a flat front tire with no Allen key or quick release lever to swap wheels. In other words, "it's a massive advantage, except it isn't"

That bike just looks crazy rigid for this race. Hurts just looking at it.This is the Merida Reacto that recent Milan-San Remo champion Matej Mohorič will be riding at Paris-Roubaix this weekend.
