All you need to do is read up a bit on narcissism and then transfer over the knowledge to the actions of Mr Armstrong. Actually, the pictures of he and the young Cassartelli that he posted is a perfect example. It is easy to see that those pictures are meant to portray Mr Armstrong in a positive light. Normal people do nice things for the people their actions benefit. Mr Armstrong does them to benefit his image. Its easy to tell the difference based on his actions. See, those pictures weren't taken by someone else and posted. Ms Cassartelli didn't post them. The young Cassartelli didn't post them. No, Lance posted them. What is his message with those pictures? People who are truly kind and giving don't need to let people know they have those attributes because their point is to benefit the other person. In this case, it isn't even tough to achieve that psychological determination. In fact, his actions scream Narcissism.
Lastly, let me ask you this: If the point of the comeback is cancer awareness, why impose a black-out on the press? His little temper tantrum over everyone's annoyance at his actions regarding the Milano stage doesn't benefit cancer in the slightest.
You see cynicism. I only see cold reality.

Don't be so hard on yourself, that's what people full of hate want you to do. Healthy people try to portray themselves in a positive way as often as possible. People in the public eye, like Armstrong, even more so because of the attending responsibilities of his position. Don't be fooled by some hack shrink that flunked Narcissism 101. Haters try to get YOU to portray yourself in a negative way - don't let them succeed by disrespecting yourself with those comments.

Lance posts his daily videos at the Livestrong.COM site, not the .ORG site. The .COM site is a FOR PROFIT site that was set up by Lance and a guy who used to do a bunch of internet spam. Armstrong is trying to drive traffic to the .com site because he makes $$$$ off it and it builds his brand.
It has nothing to do with Cancer.

Cyclingnews scouted the Astana bus for that elusive Armstrong quote, but press officer Philippe Maertens informed the wanting Anglophone posse who gathered outside the big blue bus, "Not today, not tomorrow… Even if he wins the stage [today], he probably won't talk [to you]."
What about attending the winner's press conference? Isn't it mandatory?
