It makes me mad. What could he have done otherwise? Now it just cost him a whole lot of energy to even limit the damage.

he rode pretty fast considering he was alone so it looks like he isn't ill (otherwise he would've lost much much more). also after the stage, he said he would've stayed with them for the whole climb if would've needed "to stop".Arked said:I still believe he can win this. I only hope he doesn't have any serious food poisoning or dehydration after today.
If he could have easily followed Quintana and Nibali today then he has the race in the bag unless a crash, mechanical etc.Dekker_Tifosi said:Dumoulin also said he felt "really strong" and said he could "have easily followed Quintana and Nibali". Which is why he is so disappointed.

Yes. Hard to beat gaviria to the line tomorrow thoBaldinger said:When he had to stop and take a dump last year in the Tour, he ended up winning the next day. If I remember correctly that is.
That could well be a problem then for the rest of this week.Red Rick said:Dumoulin said he's had it before. Suggested his intestines get hypoxic during intense exercise at altitude, causing him to have problems
