Shouldn't Remco wait for the mountains to come in ~ 50 k and then attack. I think that he is lashing out initially and will ship even more time or may not be able to contest in a breakaway similar to Julian in TDF

It's not just cycling, but the whole channel. During ad breaks, they keep showing american successes to European audiences...
The XC skiing doesn't stop advertising America when the ad breaks stop. Billy Mays couldn't shill so hard as Patrick Winterton does for Jessie Diggins.

Storer was looking ominous attacking for those KOM points yesterday, but this flat start is going to kill the legs, these guys should just control with their teams and then fly off in an hour or so.

Evenepoel wasn't supposed to attack period (Klaas Lodewyck pre-race interview). At least not today or tomorrow. The idea was to focus on his recovery first and then target stage wins next week.

Unless Lodewyck was BSing Remco is going against team orders.

Good day for Storer. Might actually have a shot at the KOM jersey. Don't want a Jumbo guy just getting it on accident.
